Atmospheric water generator output depends entirely on ambient temperature and humidity — so rather than lead with nameplate figures, we ranked five Indian cities on how consistently they support real-world production across a full year. Scores are based on 1991–2020 climate normals run through our production curve, with 10/10 representing nameplate maximum output.

Methodology

Production figures are derived from bilinear interpolation of manufacturer test data (temperature × relative humidity), using 1991–2020 climate normals for each city. Output is capped at nameplate maximum — 20L/day for the 20L-D at 30°C/80% RH, and 250L/day for the HL-A250L (a linear ×12.5 scale-up from the same reference curve). No figures are extrapolated beyond the manufacturer's tested temperature or humidity range.

This is why we publish month-by-month numbers instead of a single headline capacity claim: an atmospheric water generator's real-world output moves with the seasons, and a customer in Kochi in July will see very different results than one in Kolkata in January — even on the same unit.
